Wed., Oct. 3-T chart due Qin/ShiHuangdi, Han/Wudi due, take pop quiz (5 questions) in class, receive religion chart assignment due Thursday and answer the following question: How are religion and culture connected/related? To help you answer this question, think of and answer the following questions, they will help you to figure out the relationship: 1.) As religions develop, how does the culture in which they originate affect the religion? Give an example. 2.) How do basic teachings of a religion reflect and impact culture? Give an example. 3.)How do belief systems influence the way people live and organize their lives? Does religion alter social structure? Give an example. 4.)How are religious beliefs and government connected? Give an example. Remember you may use one google doc to answer this series of questions-just each person in your group use a different color-no free riders! EACH person must complete a religion chart. Due Thursday for a class discussion. Start Topic 5 rdg on ancient Greece.
